2.3 Content used for generation and editing

To perform face-swap generation, this service temporarily processes the following data using secure cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform). None of this content is used to train any AI or machine learning model, and none of it is retained by us beyond the limited processing and storage windows described in Section 4.

  • Face photos (the “Source Face Data”): photos used as the “swapping side” (the replacement face). These remain saved locally on your device until you delete them. When you run a face swap, the photo is uploaded to our server only for the moment needed to perform the swap and is deleted immediately afterward.
  • Images and videos targeted for face swapping (the “Target Data”): the original image or video whose face will be replaced. This is uploaded to our server only for the duration of processing and is automatically and immediately deleted once the swap is complete — the same for every user, free or paid.
  • Generated result images and videos (the “Generated Data”): the output of the face-swap process, temporarily stored on our server so you can download it (see Section 4.2 for retention periods).

3. Purposes of use

We use the collected information for the following purposes.

  • Providing, maintaining, protecting, and improving this service
  • Executing generation processing (such as face swapping)
  • Analyzing usage and improving quality (e.g., analytics tools such as GA4)
  • Preventing misuse and ensuring security
  • Responding to inquiries
  • Sending important notices (changes to terms, feature changes, etc.)

4. Upload, storage, and deletion (important)

4.1 Upload to our servers

To perform face-swap processing, your Source Face Data and Target Data are uploaded to our servers, hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). An upload automatically occurs every time you run a face swap; there is no option to process data without uploading it.

4.2 Retention periods and automatic deletion

  • Source Face Data (free and paid users alike)
    • On your device: retained until you delete it yourself.
    • On our server: used only momentarily to perform the face swap and deleted immediately after upload and processing. It is not retained on our servers.
  • Target Data (the original image or video being swapped; free and paid users alike)
    • On our server: uploaded only for the duration of face-swap processing and deleted immediately once processing is complete. It is not stored on your device or on our servers beyond that moment.
    • Note that reference (link) information to the original data on your device may still be shown in the app’s library screen and similar areas.
  • Generated Data (the face-swap output)
    • Free users: stored on our server for 24 hours so you can download it, then automatically and permanently deleted. Once deleted, we have no way to restore it — not even we can recover it.
    • Paid users: stored on our server for 7 days so you can download it, then automatically and permanently deleted. Once deleted, we have no way to restore it — not even we can recover it.

Important: Because Generated Data is automatically and irreversibly deleted once the retention period above expires, please save any results you wish to keep to your own device or your own storage before the deadline. We are unable to access, recover, or provide any data that has already been deleted, and we also carry out deletion within a reasonable scope based on deletion requests from users — you are solely responsible for backing up content you want to keep.

4.3 No use for AI training

We do not use your face photos, Target Data, or Generated Data to train any AI or machine learning model, whether ours or a third party’s. This data is used solely, and only temporarily, to perform the face-swap processing you request.

5. Provision to third parties

Except where permitted by law, we do not provide personal information to third parties without the individual’s consent.

6. Outsourcing

To the extent necessary to provide this service, we may outsource operations such as cloud infrastructure, data storage, access analytics, and customer support to external contractors. In such cases, we conclude appropriate agreements with contractors and exercise necessary and appropriate supervision.

7. Use of analytics tools

We may use access analytics tools to improve the service.

  • Example tool: Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

8. Use by minors

If a minor uses this service, please obtain the consent of a parent or guardian.

9. Security management measures

We take reasonable security management measures to prevent leakage and similar incidents involving personal information.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may revise this policy as necessary. For material changes, we will notify users within the app or by methods designated by us.
